Serving Our Seniors existed in name only when I accepted the position as Executive Director.  As the founding director, I was given the mission and empowered with the means to advocate and implement programs that protect the rights of older adults and allow them to maintain their independence. With that latitude, I have been able to be innovative and develop programs that really target the specific needs of Erie County’ older adults.  Serving Our Seniors has and continues to be a wonderful and gratifying experience.  I look forward to going to work each day to a motivated and professional staff.  The community, volunteers, politicians, board of trustees and local media have been extremely supportive of my efforts.  As Serving Our Seniors’ stature has grown, the organization has been able to have a greater impact on the community.  It really has been a dream job.
